Fr. (Dr.) Joel George Pullolil completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering Thiruvananthapuram (CET) in 1992. He has worked as a Junior Engineer in Penta Technologies Pvt. LTD (energy audit Company) for a period of three years. He completed post graduate diploma in Energy Management from Madurai Kamaraj University Madurai in 1994. He has been working as a faculty member in Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology, Kakkanad, Ernakulam (Kerala) since 2001. He completed his Masters Degree in Energy Systems and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) in 2010. He has defended his Ph.D. thesis titled "Investigations on Valorisation of Lignocellulosic Biomass through Fluidised Bed Gasification" in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC). He has several international publications to his credit. His areas of academic interest are Energy Management, Sustainable Energy Resources, Biomass Gasification and Simultaneous Minimization of Water and Energy. He is actively involved in the promotion of Green Energy. He is a certified Energy Manager and Energy Auditor by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) and is a Life Member of the Society of Energy Engineers and Managers (SEEM) and Energy conservation society. Currently he is functioning as the Assistant Director and UG Dean of Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology.
