V Meena joined Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology in June 2008. She started her career in February 1996 as Member, Research staff at Central Research Laboratory (CRL), Bharat, Electronics Ltd, Bangalore. At CRL, she was involved in prototype development for spread spectrum communication system for the Indian defence services. She joined Motorola India Electronics Pvt Ltd in Oct 1999. She was working as project leader in the Digital Signal Processing Group at MIEL prior to joining RSET. She has rich experience in video and audio codec design and optimization on various platforms, echo canceller development and image compression. Currently she is a research scholar registered at National Institute of Technology, Calicut on a part-time basis. Her research area is signal theory and research interest includes compressed sensing, and video and image compression.
V Meena did B Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering at Govt College of Engineering, Kannur under Calicut University during 1989-1993. She completed M Tech in Digital systems and communication Engineering from REC, Calicut in 1996. The training imparted to her at Sainik School, Kazhakuttom during her schooling has left a very strong patriotism in her.
