Mr. Uday Sankar K. completed his B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from St. Joseph’s College of Engineering and Technology, Palai in 2006. He graduated with a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2009. During the course of the Master’s Program he was a Research Assistant at the Multi-modal freight transportation program at the Texas Transportation Institute. He has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology since January 2011 and is currently enrolled for the doctoral program at the School of Engineering at Cochin University of Science & Technology. His area of interests are Operations Research, Modelling of transportation systems and Road network design.
